General

What is Vidibox?
The Vidibox is a daylight, patented, easy to use LED video and audio system consisting of two standard containers (Boxes) – a top LED box and a versatile bottom box.
With its smart appearance the Vidibox attracts all eyes. It is extremely flexible in its combination – and can be covered with adhesive film for company branding – the perfect choice for promotional events, road shows and sport and cultural occasions.

What is the Top LED Box and what types are available?
The Vidibox system is made up of 2 Boxes.
The upper box contains the LED Screens.
The following choices are available:

• 1-Screen Box
One long side of the Vidibox is provided with a high-resolution daylight LED video screen in a 16:9 format. The LED display surface area is 16 m2.

• 2-Screen Box
The Vidibox is provided with a high-resolution daylight LED screen in a 16:9 format on both sides. The 2 LED display surface areas of 16 m2 each, give a total LED surface area of 32 m2.

What is the Bottom Box and what types are available?
The Vidibox system comprises 2 boxes. The bottom box is the lower of the two boxes of the Vidibox.
The following choices are available:

• Ticket Box
Information and cashier boxes, for example, are important components of large events. With the combination of a Ticket Box and the top LED box, ticketing, advertising as well as the broadcasting of messages for the event can be directed at the target audience easily.

• Show Box
The Show Box consists of three sides of full-surface safety glass and is therefore perfectly suited for product presentations in- or outside - from a small motorcar showroom to temporary sales stores.

• Walk Through Box
The Walk Through Box is a completely open Bottom Box making use of every square metre of space not hindering pedestrians, because they can - as the name says - walk through! By providing access from all sides, the Walk Through Box is the ideal accompaniment for promotions.

• Standard Box
The Standard Box is fully enclosed on all 4 sides. It is in particularly popular, amongst other things, as editing suites for large events. All broadcast technology, from live camera transmission to the cutting room, as well as being used as an on-site staff room, can be accommodated inside – with simultaneous displays of video streams on the top LED box.

What audio experience does the Vidibox provide?
The Vidibox is equipped with a professional audio system. Integrated into the left and right hand side of the LED screens there are 2 JBL outdoor speakers (2 x 1000 Watt), guaranteeing high-quality output of music or speech for up to 1,000 people.

What extras are available for the Vidibox?
Option 1 - Editing suite
If desired the Vidibox can be supplied with a video cutting console. Details upon request.

Option 2 – Online Media Server
This makes accurate-to-the-second playlist programming possible; in addition, live streams and news updates (e.g. headlines, weather, pictures, etc.) can be managed remotely and displayed on the Vidibox. Compatible formats: “.avi”, “.mpeg”, “.mov”, “.html” and Adobe Flash

Option 3 - Power supply
If no external power supply is available on site, the Vidibox can be supplied with a low-noise power supply with a 25 kW or 40 kW output.

Option 4: SMS/Bluetooth - transmitting unit
Given the possibilities of Mobile Marketing as a modern direct marketing tool, the Vidibox rounds off the media mix perfectly. Whether SMS voting or transmitting product information to the area around the Vidibox – almost anything is possible. More details upon request.

Branding

How can the Vidibox be individually branded?
The aim behind the Vidibox concept was to provide the customer with the maximum range of design possibilities – the look of the Vidibox can be adapted entirely to customer requirements using adhesive film on all non-LED surfaces.

Covering the side surfaces of the Top LED Boxes
All side surfaces on the Top LED Box which do not have LED screens can be individually branded.

Covering the side surfaces of the Bottom Boxes
All side surfaces of the Bottom Boxes (apart from the “Walk Through” version) can be individually covered with any motif using adhesive film.

Columns – all colours
The columns on the Vidibox can be painted in any RAL colour, to complement the subject featured on the adhesive film. If no special RAL colour is required, the Vidibox is supplied as standard in CI grey. An overview of the RAL colour system can be found at de.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAL-Farbsystem

Decoration
“Show” or “Walk Through” Boxes can be dressed like contemporary boutique display windows. Details upon request.

What do I have to bear in mind when applying the adhesive film?
The information relates to actual measured values. As the dimensions of the boxes may vary depending on the model and the installation site, we recommend the following procedure when preparing the film:

1. Position images and text information a maximum of 2-3 cm inside the given dimensions (information at the edges could be cut off).
2. Allow an additional filler, approximately 3 cm per side, that may be cut off during lamination (this is necessary as the container format can vary slightly).

What are the dimensions for dressing the surfaces of the Bottom Box?
The exact sizes of the surfaces depend on the configuration of the Vidibox. You'll get detailed information after your order.

In what formats can I provide graphics/data in, in order to dress the screen?
All graphics and data must be provided in digital form to the Vidibox contract partners 7 working days before the Vidibox is installed. Material should be sent to grafik@vidibox.com

Vidibox supports “.eps” “.ai” or “.pdf” formats. Be sure to provide a telephone number with your email, in case of queries.

Technical

What are the dimensions and the weight of the Vidibox?
The Top LED Box has dimensions of 6.1 m (L) x 2.4 m (W) x 3.5 m (H). Together with the Bottom Box, the dimensions of the whole Vidibox system are 6.1 m (L) x 2.4 m (W) x 6.1 m (H).

The Top LED Box weighs 4,500 kg. Depending on the system, the Bottom Boxes weigh between 2,000 and 2,500 kg (Show Box).

Are there test reports or statics reports for the Vidibox?
Full stats and structural reports are available upon request.
